New Concept - Monterey Park
About 18 people from the Chowhound board met up last weekend for dim sum at the recently opened New Concept Restaurant. Sorry to be lame, but I'll post photos now and write later. Thanks for these pix! They convinced me to go on Sunday. Got there at 10, which was just as well, because they were 30 deep by 1030.
Great dim sum, i thought, really fresh, not greasy at all. and a small but excellent selection. I didn't try the orange soda hicken wings, but i thought the chiu chow dumplings were grrrrrEAT!
